Spring is here, and it’s a great time to live in RVA. Flowers start to bloom, the weather gets warmer, and the prospect of summer is just a few months away. If you have some summer home improvement plans in mind for this year, now is the time to get started on the planning process! Here’s a few reasons why….
Why Right Now is the Best Time to Start Planning Your Summer Home Improvement Project
If you’re looking to have a projected completed this summer… it’s best not to start in summer. From start to finish, projects can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months to complete (we’ll let you know up front what our timetable is, however.) Starting the process in Spring means that, depending on the type of project, you could be done before summer even starts. If your improvement involves a new outdoor improvement, like a pergola, chances are you’ll be able to use it all warm season long!
As we near the warmer months, home improvement crews get booked up fast – meaning that depending on availability, we might not be able to tackle your project until Fall. However, in the colder seasons (Nov-Apr), things are a bit slower – and we want to make sure we’re keeping our crews busy. The earlier in spring you start the process, the faster we’ll be able to tackle it!
Combine the two factors above, and you get a pretty good idea that price will be different in the summer. When demand is lower, we’re able to get better deals and prices from our suppliers, and we pass that on to you. Booking a project in Spring usually means a better deal.
So, to sum it all up – your project will start sooner, finish earlier, and be more competitively priced if you book in the spring time. Sounds like a pretty good deal,r ight? Then let’s get started!
Get in touch and let us know what you have in mind for your summer home improvement project. We’ll head over and assess your needs in order to work up a 100% free, no-pressure quote for your project, and then we’ll go from there! We look forward to hearing from you.
